PINO is the best restaurant you might not know about but it’s been right here off Mayo in North Scottsdale for almost 20 years.
A valley secret that lives off passionate referrals like this from people who love it here.
Paco, the owner, is from France and brings over half a century of culinary and restauranteur experience.
He has been here every time I have visited since I moved to the area two years ago.
He’s clearly a perfectionist who owns every element of the operation and cares deeply about the satisfaction of his loyal customers.
The pizza is way better than anywhere else - don’t believe that? Go for yourself and tell me I’m wrong! Their pasta, pastries, salads, soups - are just as good and all made with higher quality ingredients than you’ll get anywhere else in the valley for the price range.
Much of it is imported which really stands out in the flavor and presentation.
Visit here immediately!! And don’t sleep on the deserts because they’re also phenomenal.

We followed all the staff’s recommendations from beignet, salad, pasta, to dessert.
Feels so authentic and fresh.
Visited from out of town and would travel back for this food!

The food was very flavorful but the portions seemed a bit small for the price.
The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice during lunch time.
