The food was fairly good, pretty salty, but had some good flavor.
The service was great, the people were super friendly and the food came out quickly.
The tenderloin was good, not super big, but very salty.
The burgers were good.
Their sauce that came on the sandwiches was tasty.
It's a similar joint to Hi-Boy though I would recommend driving the extra 20 minutes to go to Hi-Boy.

Our family loves this place.
I should have gotten on here before to do a 5 star.
I apologize for that.
However, our last visit was something else.
When we walked in, the place smelled like a dirty mop, and they had clearly just mopped.
Ordering our food went smooth.
However, our drinks came out about 5 mins after our food, and I had to go back up to the counter to remind them.
They did make up for by giving me a 2 large sodas instead of 1 small.
So that was nice.
My favorite item is the tenderloin sandwich.
While all of the other food was delicious, and nobody complained, I have no idea what happened to the tenderloin.
It IS NOT what they used to serve.
It tasted like cat food smells, my buddy said it tasted more like dog food.
The meat in the patty looked grey, kinda like canned tuna… I don’t usually put ketchup on my food, but I ended up slathering my sandwich in it just to try to eat it.
I’m not a picky eater by any means.
I could NOT finish that sandwich.
I tried.
Got through about half of it and gave up.
Maybe we will try again in like 6 months to see if they change it back to the original recipe.
It was sooo bad.

This place was recommended by a more tenured KC citizen than myself, as they told me they have been coming here their entire life.
I take those words seriously with burgers.... It's not bad! Pretty good burger, though I did expect a bigger sandwich.
I thought the onion rings were excellent, though I am not sure they are fully prepared on site.
The fountain drink tasted a little flatter than one should expect. I would go back for another try.
It's definitely better than most chain hamburgers, and more expensive.
I'd be interested in how the rest of the menu tastes.
It's old school greasy, if you like that sort of food.
