Authentic Mexican food, beautiful decor, and amazing service.
They have daily food and drink specials.
Taco Tuesdays is very popular because they add one extra street taco per order.
Papi's has separate bar and restaurant entrances.
Definitely try street tacos, Birria tacos, and margaritas.
You can also enjoy heated outdoor seating.
The bar is packed with regulars, great local bmore vibe

This was my second time here and it's a chill little neighborhood spot.
I had the esquites ( street corn) and it is delicious.
Mexican mayo, crema Mexicana, cotija, lime and green onions.
I also had the chorizo street tacos and I took a bite and trashed them.
I knew chorizo was pork but did not expect it to taste like raw pork.
I couldn't even swallow the bite.
It went in a napkin.
I also had the shrimp tacos.
The shrimp were miniscule, and the toppings were abundant ( I'm guessing to hide the newborn shrimp), but not in a good way.
The shrimp tacos were very soggy.
I wasted my money on the street tacos but the corn and drinks were good.
The server Patrick was also very nice.They also give you complimentary nachos and salsa👍🏿

Papi's in Hampden and in Fells Point are both great.
The vibe is welcoming and laid back.
And the food is always delicious.
It's easy to get vegan or vegetarian food.
And our kiddo crushes the beef tacos and the rice.
Always a good sign when the kid actually eats!
