Chinese restaurant, Asian restaurant
We ordered 3 items for delivery. Unfortunately everything we got wasn't not even close to decent.Everything lacked flavor, wonton soup was tasteless & the wonton skin that they use for their wontons were super thick & doughy w/very little flavorless meat. I wouldn't recommend it. We also got an appetizer of steamed dumplings. This was also bland and tasteless. Third item was chicken w/mixed vegetables. The sauce was also bland. At least the vegetables & chicken were fresh, just lacked the flavor. We didn't order anything that was fried. We all know that ordering anything fried, then delivered becomes very soggy. Unfortunately, this was all disappointing.
This restaurant is OUTSTANDING!! Their food is excellent; tasty & fresh tasting, regardless of the time of day. Service is terrific; they'll do what they can to accommodate special requests and even the physical store is great. I find it quite inviting, very streamlined & welcoming looking. Prices seem quite reasonable as well. It has been my experience that one can make quite valid judgements about a business by small, often inconsequential appearing details. New China II's website is one of the best ever. If you've ordered from them before, the menu begins with "favorite foods." BUT, they are not necessarily the most popular; they are YOUR favorites!!! Which makes ordering SO much easier when dealing with a menu as vast as New China II's! Well done!!!! Update 4/24 I don't know how they do it but it SEEMS like New China II just gets better!
I ordered bourbon chicken & fried rice, it was the worst, most disgusting, no taste having Chinese meal I have ever had.
