Pancho Villa's

Celebrated 2 of my children here, and from the service to the food, everything was great.
We were a party of 12 each eating something different.
But I did get a picture of these 2 dishes.
Molcajete and shrimp cocktail.

I love this Mexican grill restaurant.
The buffet is good.
Love the fresh menu do and posole, the grilled stuffs was awesome.
The variety of food, dessert, appetizers were awesome.
This is a good place for gathering.
With awesome entertainment...

I rate Pancho Villa’s in Fontana with 3 stars, mainly because of their top notch service and the mariachi show.
The kitchen and food, however, are lacking in professionalism and flavor.
First, our server was wonderful! We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and he was very accommodating.
Our server managed our expectations concerning food and drink wait times, which really helped us figure out what we wanted to order quickly.
Secondly, the kitchen and food on the other hand need improvement.
My parents ordered the molcajete pictures in this review.
I ordered PV’s prime special that included a 10 oz steak, chicken taquito, and mole enchilada.
I asked the server to ensure the plate didn’t have sour cream.
Yet, my plate came with a taquito covered in sour cream.
The server said he would take care of it and within 5 minutes I had a plate with a taquito sans sour cream.
After further inspection, and after flipping the taquito around, you can clearly see that the kitchen staff merely wiped off the sour cream and put the same taquito back on the plate (as can be seen in the included picture).
As if that wasn’t enough, the steak seriously lacked flavor, like the kitchen simply got the meat out of the packaging and cooked it without seasoning or marinating their food.
Needless to say, my meal at $40, was an under seasoned sour cream mess.
At the same time, don’t let my experience be what sways you from Pancho Villa’s in Fontana.
The service is wonderful and the show is quite entertaining; just don’t expect their food to match the floor personnel.
