Indian restaurant
Today will have been our third time at this restaurant. They have been consistently good and I have consistently been remiss in writing a review. But today is the day.First off, we found out at the end of our lunch that the restaurant had gone under a name change from Oberoi’s Authentic Indian Food to Ohri’s Restaurant Indo Chinese, and the chef of the former is now the owner of the latter. He wasn’t aware that we’d been there before (which was fine, since he would have been in the back on our prior visits) so he pointed out what he thought were dishes that we’d like.He was right, so we ordered the Vegetable Samosas for an appetizer and the Butter Chicken as our entree. He was kind enough to point out that the amount of Butter Chicken would be suitable for the two of us to split though we did inadvertently order an extra order of Naan. This is not fast food.Everything is freshly made.So please, be patient.Enjoy conversation with whomever you are dining with.Alone? Read a book.Take a Selfie.Take another.No.Read.Or send a long message to someone, finish that review for a place YOU really enjoyed but keep forgetting to post. The handmade Vegetable Samosas arrived first and were delicious. The pastry is thick but somehow flaky and soft.Carom (Caraway) is prominent in the potato-based filling and there is a little kick of spice. They come with two sauces: one, savory/sweet chutney-like, and the other yogurt based. The Butter Chicken was also very tasty. The chicken was tender and the sauce, smooth and rich with a hint of needed acidity. You can’t stop yourself from spooning more over your perfectly cooked Basmati rice.Or if you are like us, dip folds of Naan into it in between the actual bites from your plate. The Naan is also handmade with the right bit of char to contrast with the softness and BUTTERY! There are other options but we were about the butter. The Mango Lassi was yummy and of course I had to take it with me because I was so full. I definitely recommend Ohri’s.Please try them out for lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed!
Tasty and freshly made food. Interesting indo-Chinese item on the menu.:)

Thank you I appreciate your feed back
We had an enjoyable meal! My picky eater preschooler loved the butter chicken and had 3 helpings and really loves the mango lassi too, which had lots of mango. The owner/chef was very attentive and friendly and his restaurant is just starting out, but you can tell he has a lot of experience making good food.
