I've really been wanting to go to Nickys for a long time.
Nice establishment.
The cashier was cool.
Nice looking place I ordered a gyro no fries, no drink for $10.
I was so disappointed in this gyro and it didn't even taste like a gyro, I don't know cause I asked them to cook the meat a little bit but it tasted like a flame burger and a taco, no Gyro flavor whatsoever being a Gyros lover I was So disappointed.
I might try it again, Maybe it's better next time but first impressions weren't good at all

Food is top notch.
This place has changed hands over the years and I think they finally have great ownership.
The beef is delicious.
The hot dogs are some of the best in Chicago.
You can have them bring a food truck to cater private events too.
Only complaint is that the food is a bit pricey.
It’s a bad economy under the current regime.
I understand.

The cashier was very friendly and welcoming.
She took my order and made pleasant small talk.
The place is small and offers a counter inside, if you'd like to eat there.
It also has a patio, with outdoor seating which is nice.
I'll be back based on the customer service alone.
During this particular visit, I had the two hotdog special, which comes with fries.
The fries were hot and the hot dog was good too.
