Seafood restaurant, Chinese restaurant
Food is truly authentic Chinese, I love that everything is so hope even after 15mins
This is my parents go-to place when they first moved to San Francisco in the early 2000s.It’s good to see the place is still open. The food is still good, and I would recommend giving them a try.I would caution that you use their letter/number combinations when ordering - the person we spoke to spoke neither English nor Mandarin. We were lucky that my wife speaks Cantonese.Your mileage may vary.
Rudest female owner. She screamed at you if you asked her a question whether it’s about a charge or how long to wait for a table. It’s very small and has very limited tables.I overheard a conversation between her and a customer who asked why she charged $2 per person to have brought in birthday cake served in the restaurant. She yelled : of course because she had to provide plates and forks! After waiting for half an hour, we ordered half size steam chicken which was served cold 🥶, a steam black bass, spare ribs, roasted pigeon , a traditional Cantonese soup, and Chinese broccoli with garlic.Food were served out to table with an astonishing speed as if everything had been precooked behind the scenes.General speaking, food tasted good except the cold chicken. But I got severe stomach upset 30 minutes after the meal.Ran to restroom non stop and still have stomach problem after two days! Wonder if it’s chicken or the fish or whatever?!🤣😰🤬🤢🤮 Will not recommend this restaurant.
