I've been to a few Chinese vegetarian restaurants. This is a good one.Good value and good quality.Large menu.We had the fried pumpkin, tan tan noodles and a mix of seitan, tofu, mushroom and vegetables. All very good.Maybe a bit of the sweet side, but not overly so.It's a bit off from the main commercial area, which may help if other restaurants are too busy.
Great spot for vegetarian food.Their takes on non veg dishes are pretty great. We had fried rice with “pork” and “ham” that had good flavor and texture. The noodles with chicken are great as well.We weren’t a fan of the soup we got but everything else was appetizing and filling.I’m not vegetarian but can see myself coming again since it’s nearby and would definitely bring vegetarian friends to check it out.
Vegetarian/Vegan Chinese restaurant creating a variety of dishes from chow Mein to tempura to tofu/veggie meat & vegetables.I would describe the dishes here as “pure” yet flavorful. The main flavor focuses on the sauce of the dish rather than multiple ingredients combining together. Each piece of veggie meat, tofu, and vegetable is infused with the dish’s sauce. All the vegetables were tender and the soy-based meats chewy.I really enjoyed the (seitan?) strips in the chow mein and the “chicken” in the kung pao chicken.Only complaints are that each dish was over-peppered (too much black pepper added) and the tea was pretty weak (they used 1 tea bag for the whole pot of water).
