I scheduled to pick up my new Fiesta wreath yesterday in the west side of town.I chose to visit @agreekhouse (Mina & Dimi’s) since I’ve heard great things about it.It took about an hour drive with traffic from the Stone Oak area. We went in and the place was packed for dinner. We grab the last available table at the time.Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby and I had Mythos Greek beer.We started with the Taste It All Combo, which had huge dolmas, feta cheese, olives, pita, and much more.Good thing we got the smaller portion! We then shared the Hercules Platter (Single for 2), which had gyro, beef and chicken kabobs, Greek salad, more pita. The side of fries and oven potatoes were added for an extra charge. We tried the Baklava and Chocolate Mousse Pie.Then got the Chocolate Temptation and a complimentary baklava to go. Hubby accidentally hit the beer bottle and it shattered.Everyone shouted, “Opa!” Alexis came to sweep up the pieces and recognized Dad from my food posts. She was so nice to check in on us a few times. Good to see a family-owned business supported by the local community. There was definitely a stream of steady customers.Food and service was great so you’ll have to stop by.
I was a bit nervous to try Greek food. But it was amazing.I loved all of it. We tried the Hercules, which had chicken, lamb and steak and I was not disappointed. I even loved the lamb which normally I don't ever like but this was really really good. I didn't mind the wait time because I understand everyone loves this place. All the staff was very friendly as well.
First time and let me say this place is phenomenal (aka) Fire! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Fat Lamb Gyro, meat was juicy and flavorful, veggies were fresh and tzatziki sauce was on point.Save some room, because you definitely need to grab a slice of the baklava Cheesecake.I'm beyond stuffed typing this out but sooooo worth it!
