My favorite Japanese restaurant in all of chicago.
My parents and I have been ordering takeout from here since I was little.
I decided to dine in today and they took us even though it was 10 mins to closing. The agedashi tofu is my go to appetizer.
It’s by far the best I’ve ever had.
We also ordered the pacific and Roberto special.
My boyfriend was blown away by the flavors and gave it a 10/10.
We lastly ordered the beef suyiyaki — we were so full but finished everything because it was that good. The service is so great on top of the food.
The ambiance is so warm and inviting.
This place is such a hidden gem, I love it and want to tell everyone about it! Chef Roberto is amazing.

We have been going to Modori for more than 20 years.Service is great!Food is amazing!I would recommend getting Red eye,Boston Maki roll,Red Cross,hand rolls,and the Roberto special.It is definitely a kid friendly restaurant.So good! Definitely go and buy some food from there.
