My hubby always said this is one of the best pizzas in the county. Today, we finally went there.
My first visit, and his first visit after 4 years.
On the way to the restaurant, I read a review saying the sauce and dough was bland, my heart sank a bit.
I told my hubby, ‘we will be the judge!’ And now I have to agree with the previous review.
The sauce wasn’t just bland but also watery.
The only flavour that the pizza had was the ingredients they put there when you tasted them individually...
they actually didn’t blend in that well. The key to the pizza is the sauce and the dough apart form the ingredients.
I guess 4 years ago was the time it’s awarded one of the best pizzas in the US.
Sadly, I couldn’t taste the same flavour anymore. To be fair, the salad was quite good! And the IPA as well!

I’ve been to Rome and Florence Italy:) I can say Michael’s Pizzeria is definitely on par with the authentic Italian cuisine:) Their Pizza was more tasty then the one I had in Rome:)

Here on vacation and stopped in for lunch.
The food was amazing! Easily in my top 5 best pizzias! If you are looking for a good wood fired pizzia, this is the place! Service was great as well! I will definitely return when back in the area.
