The food was okay but very bland and tasteless.
It was very obvious that I wasn't inconvenience to the server to even take my order much less make it even though I was the only person there.
He must have been having a great conversation when I walked up because it took him quite to end it in the challenged with my order.
Once the order was completed it must have been too much work to take two steps to the counter and place it down so he had to throw it to the counter from the grill.

Older lady at the counter gave me a look of inconvenience when I ordered my breakfast sandwich then proceeded to tell my friend she couldn’t make her one of the sandwiches on the menu “because she was working alone.” After my friend chose a different sandwich and paid she yelled THANKS FOR THE TIP in a passive aggressive manner only because my friend did not leave a tip.
I left a tip and she did not thank me.
While we waited for our sandwiches I witnessed her yell THANKS FOR THR TIP again at another customer who purchased a snack and a drink and did not leave a tip.
Very, very rude and inappropriate behavior!!

The older lady who worked here on 10/09 maybe blot family with good customer service as well as hygiene practices handling food.
I was excited to try this Metcalves location as it is relatively new to the airport. I purchased a breakfast sandwich, all the worker did is placed it (pre-made not made from scratch here) on the grill barely moved away from register.
Another person purchased something with cash and left a tip in jar.
The worker emphasizes to the customer “thanks for tipping - you wouldn’t believe how many people don’t”.
While I don’t care or take this personally, however, this is a personal decision to tip or not.
There is no need to comment on what other people choose to do.
The company must be struggling to find workers.
I guess we should be grateful at least have this one. The breakfast sandwich with an egg and bacon was good but nothing to write home about.
I’m still grateful they offer breakfast here though.
