If you have seen my reviews, you should know by now that I love trying new places.This place was definitely a hidden gem 💎 I mean from the service to the food coming out piping hot 🥵 This restaurant/ Bar is truly breathtaking! I got there a little early, from the time they open for the second half.That didn’t matter.I was welcomed in.I asked if it was okay to take pictures she didn’t mind at all.I wish I had gotten her name.She was amazing server.Very patient.She made she to ask how spicy I wanted my food.Gave me suggestions to try for a sweet dessert.🍨 I wish my phone my didn’t die.I got the most pictures I could.I’ll definitely be returning.I hope the other guest’s didn’t mind me staring.I was just amazed to be in a new environment.I love being apart of different cultures.I love learning everything about how foods are eaten, created, and how long a recipe has been around.This was very different for me but I loved every single minute of it.I didn’t feel rushed.I ate so much I didn’t even want to leave lol they might as well consider me family 😅 I’m a great cook.I’d love the opportunity to just be in the kitchen just once to learn about different cooking methods, spices, and techniques.Maybe one day.We will see! ❤️ I really can’t say enough about this beautiful place.Everything just felt so special here.The furniture was beautiful.It felt like I was actually in India 🇮🇳
MatkaBar was the star of my visit to Montgomery! I’ve never seen a nicer atmosphere for an Indian restaurant at this price point.The food was great and our server was very attentive and nice.Best roti I’ve had since eating my Nani’s YEARS ago! We’ll be back!
Everything is exceptional here.The cleanliness, atmosphere, service- and the food was excellent.The tandoori lamb chops and goat rogan josh made my head spin! Incredible flavor.Rice was aromatic and perfectly spiced.This is one of the best restaurants Montgomery has to offer- we are lucky to have this gem.
