Went here with some family and OMG the food was better than I expected it to be.
The cook your food fresh to order even the orange juice is freshly squeezed.
I ended up getting biscuit and gravy which was the best sausage gravy I’ve ever tasted in my life.
Not too thick and definitely not watery.
The biscuits are fluffy & soft…they did not disappoint either.
I love how they cook their eggs…I requested grilled onions in mines which was amazing.
That meal alone lasted me until about 3/4 that evening.
And the bacon is not too hard not too soft either.
I’m ready to go back writing this review 🤣😆 Update: we went back on 7/28/2024 😆🤣and I got the same thing…the retro plate 😮‍💨

Maple street was one of our favorite biscuit places we visited in Savannah.
The service is quick and there's plenty of seating indoors.
Their vegetarian Shitake mushroom gravy does not disappoint! They also did an off-menu biscuit sandwich with eggs and cheese.
I highly recommend this place for the biscuits and mushroom gravy!

This place was awesome! The food is some of the best I have had when it comes to comfort.
We had breakfast with biscuits and gravey with a side of jam.
And southern style steak tacos with goat cheese and egg.
Everything was perfectly cooked and came out at reasonable timing considering how busy they got.
Get there early to avoid the rush.
But know that the wait is beyond worth it.
I will gladly come back over and over.
