I think the taste is modified to more Americanized especially for us who just returned from an Asian trip.
That is not bad, over all, this is America, you gotta make something for the majority of the people here. The taste is more to the sweeter side.
It is not spicy, for us, at all.
The chef is good, and this is one of the few restaurants that I have encountered with being able to speak English fluently.
My experience is that, most of the Asian restaurants I have been to hire immigrants who sometimes cannot speak English well, but not this one, which means it has adapted very well locally. The table is quite small for more than 4 plates, I guess the place is expensive and popular.
They don’t even have space for waiting due to the small size of the facility.
You gotta wait outside or walk around for the text message. When we arrived around 9pm, it was still full and we waited for about 15 minutes outside with light rain. The restroom is clean, and shared with the karaoke next door.
So you usually have to wait.
They serve alcohol beverages as well. The waiter says the owner is a Vietnamese who owns 12 restaurants in this area.
That explains why it is not really authentic, but more Americanized in terms of taste.
But the good side is, the restroom is clean while most Asian restaurants’ are not. Parking is not easy as usual.
After 8pm is free, but you may find a spot far away and walk through some homeless or people talking to themselves on the street.
I am not sure whether this place is safe that way, but it is always good to be careful. It is not bad if you want a hot fried meal at night that warms your body and tummy.

Flock to the Wok in downtown Savannah has quickly become my absolute favorite spot for solo dates and quick take out.
I have to admit, I was really hesitant at first because, as someone who is severely allergic to nuts, I know that many Asian restaurants use nuts or nut products in their dishes.
But from the moment I walked in, the staff put my mind at ease.
They were so attentive, making sure all of the dishes I ordered were safe for me to eat, which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. The food is absolutely delicious! The first time I went, I ordered the sesame chicken with a side of rice, and we also tried the coconut shrimp.
When I say I was blown away by the flavor, I mean it—there’s just something about their food that’s so tasty, and the portion sizes are really good.
We ended up ordering multiple different items, and every single dish was packed with flavor.
I still can’t get over how good the sesame chicken was—it’s now my go-to order. On top of the amazing food, the customer service at Flock to the Wok is top-notch.
The waiters are incredibly nice and always make sure you’re taken care of, which really adds to the overall experience.
The restaurant itself might look small from the outside, but it’s surprisingly spacious inside, with enough room to accommodate a good number of people.
It’s always busy, which is a testament to how good it is, but even when it’s packed, there’s still seating available. And for all the TikTok and Instagram lovers out there, they’ve got those viral soup dumplings that come in the cutest little basket.
Not only are they delicious, but they’re also perfect for snapping photos or adding to your Instagram story. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy a solo date, a fun night out, or just some amazing takeout, I definitely recommend Flock to the Wok.
It’s a hidden new gem in Savannah, and I can’t wait to go back! Instagram @itshalliegeorge

During a day trip to Savannah, GA, we discovered Flock to the Wok, a stylish Asian restaurant that specializes in meat and seafood wok dishes, dumplings, noodles, and fried rice.
This place exceeded our expectations and left us thoroughly impressed with its delightful offerings. The ambiance at Flock to the Wok is chic and inviting, creating a perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience.
The decor is modern yet cozy, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. It was my first time trying soup dumplings, and I couldn't get enough of them.
The dumplings were perfectly crafted, with a delicate wrapper encasing a flavorful and rich broth along with tender meat.
Each bite was a burst of deliciousness that left me wanting more. My partner ordered the fried rice with sesame chicken, and it was equally delightful.
The fried rice was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, while the sesame chicken had a wonderful balance of sweetness and tanginess.
The portions were generous, and the presentation was impeccable. As a self-proclaimed egg drop soup aficionado, I was particularly excited to try their version.
I am a very picky eater when it comes to egg drop soup, and I give every place one shot to impress me.
Flock to the Wok did not disappoint.
The egg drop soup was to die for, with the perfect consistency and flavor that surpassed my expectations.
It’s my favorite soup, and this place did it amazingly well. The menu at Flock to the Wok offers a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences.
The attention to detail and quality of ingredients are evident in every dish.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had a great dining experience.

Whether you're a fan of Asian cuisine or looking to try something new, this restaurant delivers exceptional flavors and a memorable dining experience.
I highly recommend trying the soup dumplings—they are a must-have! The fried rice with sesame chicken and the egg drop soup are also fantastic choices that will leave you satisfied. In conclusion, Flock to the Wok offers delicious food, a stylish atmosphere, and excellent service.
It's a place that I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Savannah.
