I am by no means a taco officianado, but I found the tacos here to be underwhelming. Ordered the 3 taco plate, the chorizo was lacking in seasoning, the pastor and asada were chopped into very small pieces and fried to point of only offering texture.Chips in the chips and salsa were well fried too, not sure if that was over-cooking or a decision to make them extra crispy Restaurant was clean and well lit. We were greeted when we walked in and our order was taken promptly. It was moderately busy, one table there ahead of us, took between 15 and 20 minutes to deliver 2 taco plates. Overall it's average and I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to try it.
Maiz Taqueria is delicious! We went in expecting Sazon and found it updated. We’ve eaten once in the restaurant (dinner) and had one to-go meal as well (brunch).Love the sopes, chilaquiles, horchata latte! We’ll be back
Decent food, high prices, small portions.$16 quesadillas with meat was only two pieces.Plain cheese quesadilla for kid was $12.Two very small tacos (approx.half diameter of typical) $10.Supposedly house nixtamilized tortilla, but oddly greasy.Tacos covered in bland sauces I would have traded for onion/cilantro.Blandest guacamole I’ve ever had.Tasted like mashed avocado.
