My husband and I like to find local places when traveling rather than eating at restaurant chains.We decided we wanted sandwiches for lunch and discovered The Lunch House, a family-owned business.Service was quick and we enjoyed our meals - a tuna sandwich and a burger (and sweet tea!).It was obvious that this place is frequented by repeat customers, and it’s obvious why: the staff is friendly, works hard and enjoys what they do.The space reminded us of an old diner and simpler times.Stop in and try the homemade blackberry or peach cobbler! (We arrived 1/2 an hour before closing and were the last ones to leave, hence the empty chairs in my pic.)
