Lemongrass Restaurant

Visited and had dinner here the week it was crazy hot in Tucson.
I think it was 114F during the day we visited but as it was later in the day, likely more around 100-105F? They only had a swamp cooler going so it was a little bit better in the restaurant and the owner had apologized it was not cooler.
The staff there is nice and friendly.
The food was good but for me a little on the oily side.
Wife got the stir fried rice dish with chicken and I got the noodle dish with chicken w/fresh tomato based sauce.
If it were cooler I think the meal would have been much more enjoyable.

Wow, everyone should check this place out.
The owner Dr.
Tank is incredibly kind and attentive.
But most importantly, the food is ridiculously good.
Flavorful gravy, fresh veggies, and the richest paneer I’ve ever had.
Don’t sleep on this one.

Delicious!! We went thinking this was going to be Thai food.
It’s not, but we were NOT disappointed.
The owner has combined ingredients and flavors from various places and made them into his own cuisine.
It was delicious! My husband got a rice bowl and I got the stir fry noodles in coconut sauce.
You can order all of the dishes regular or spicy (we got spicy).
We also had naan on the side.
Everything was amazing and we will definitely be back! The owner was fantastic.
He was kind and helped us through our first ordering experience.
Note: If you’re expecting a fancy sit-down restaurant, this is not it.
But it’s clean and charming in its own way.
