Mexican restaurant
Charquitas Mexican Food Restaurant brings a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine to Tucson, with a comfortable vibe that's perfect for a late-night bite. Open 24 hours, this eatery is a go-to for generous portions of flavorful dishes, like their well-seasoned carne asada or delightful shrimp burritos. While most diners rave about the freshness and large serving sizes, a few have noted minor hiccups in service. If you’re seeking hearty comfort food, this spot is worth considering, especially for late-night cravings.

September 16, 2024Charquitas Mexican Food Restaurant is a solid pick for those craving a late-night bite! 🌮 I enjoyed their chicken enchiladas, which were decent, but the carne asada fries ordered by my husband were definitely “interesting”!
The highlight was my father-in-law's shrimp burrito; he was positively smitten. The chips and guac weren't quite what I expected - think unmelted cheese smothered over chips - so maybe skip that.
Clean space and huge portions make this place worth a try, especially at 24 hours! Just be prepared for potential wait times. I might return... 😊
