Good place to stop in for a tasty and fast lunch.Excellent sevice. The gyro player was solid. You get your food in a take out container if you eat in, I think a plate would have been better.
We always have a wonderful experience when we visit Lazeez Cafe. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is always clean and well kept.We love that we can see the cook and the food being prepared fresh in the back, which is a huge plus. We usually order the Greek salad and add meat to stay low carb. This time, we tried the beef gyro and chicken (I think chicken shawarma meat) mixed on the salad. The meat is tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. My husband likes the gyro meat best and says it has the most flavor paired with his salad. We've also had the chicken shish tawook in the past, and it was also delicious. This is my favorite meat to order on my salad! However, it takes a little longer to cook, so be prepared to wait a little while longer if you order it.Also, they have a couple of salad "dressing" options (all of which we like), so be sure to ask what they have available to try! We have had the fried cauliflower in the past as well.If you like cauliflower, this is a must try! It is seriously so yummy. It's deep fried and paired with a delicious sauce. Overall, my husband and I both highly reommend you try Lazeez Cafe out.The food is really good and the service is excellent.Just be prepared to wait a little longer for your food, as everything is made to order. This isn't "fast food" but it's also not a traditional dine in restaurant with service, so do keep that in mind when you visit.
This is a straightforward, no-frills, Mediterranean (Syrian) restaurant, with a focus on gyro and gyro plates. The menu reflects this simplicity and directness, as does the interior. The food is pretty great, especially since they have managed to balance the sauce, meat, vegetables and pita such that it is not greasy, the sauce is not runny, the vegetables are fresh and the meat remains moist. The feta cheese sauce in the gyro is a little heavy and lands more on the "cheese" side. The service is behind the counter and friendly - but that is all, as the customer is expected to do the rest. In fact - therein lies the main weakness of this establishment: it FEELS like a direct descendant of a food truck - replete with a food truck service experience.
