La Pupusera is an absolute gem tucked away in the San Diego Mall! 🌟 The ambiance might be unassuming, but the food delivers big time.

Their pupusas are packed with generous fillings, and the curtido is a must-try! The Salvadoran quesadilla stole the show for me, perfectly rich and cheesy. We've enjoyed everything from enchiladas to plantains, each dish bursting with vibrant Central American flavors that feel like a mini vacation.

Service can be a bit slow, but it’s well worth the wait. Definitely my new favorite spot in Joliet! 🌮💖
