Excellent mussels and paella.Quick service. The restaurant is a tight squeeze. All paella orders need to be placed for 2 people. Also, bread & butter was provided without being asked and then we got charged for it.Beware of additional hidden charges.
We went as 3 to have lunch on a Sunday. The staff was very kind and helpful with the questions we had.The place is a little bit small, but it is very cozy. The paella system works like every place where you need to order for at least 2 person, so we ordered a vegetarian paella. The portion is huge and half of our table couldn’t finish, the price was fair for what we got.
While I was in Madrid I wanted to eat some good paella and some friends recommended La Paella de la Reina. We were 3 people and ordered 2 paellas. We ordered the paella especially which has all kinds of seafood and the chorizo paella. They were both great but our favorite was the chorizo paella.I gave them 4 stars because their pricing is a bit misleading, they charge around 20-22 euros per portion but each paella is two portions so it comes being around 44 euros for one paella. It is a bit pricey since the bill was around $150 and included 2 paellas, croquetas de jamón, and one bottle of wine.
