Restaurant, Mexican restaurant, Tex-Mex restaurant
Came here to get the menudo, and it did not disappoint. I'm from Houston, and my gf is from Los Angeles. We both agree this is the best menudo we've ever eaten at a restaurant before. My gf is not use to being served toasted bread with soup, but that's how I know it was authentic. I just left full, and I'm regretting not ording another bowl to go for later.
I have been eating here for years now and the food has not changed, it is still very delicious! This last time in noticed the burrito seemed a little smaller than I remember.Either way I will continue to come.
Not only were there ample portions of extraordinarily delicious down-home Mexican cooking, this restaurant was quiet enough to hear one another speak.Everything was excellent, from the main entre (Combo #3 - chili relleno, cheese enchilada, and taco) right down to the side order of beans and rice.La Grande Mexicana is one of Denver's best kept culinary secrets for authentic Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back soon!
