Food was as good, we really like the cannolis.The spaghetti and meatballs are great, thick noodles and tasty sauce.The service at the counter was terrific, very friendly.I’d prefer to have a waiter, like it use to be, but things change and it seems like this model works for them.

North Denver Gem. Lechugas has been one of our favorites for a very long time. They have always kept food quality over the years. Their pizzas are so good, their red sauce is thick and flavorful. We usually order “Supers” cannolis or “Devil” cannolis if we are feeling like a spicy change. Supers are a little spicy just due to sausage.My kids have always been able to eat them.Supers have two sausage's, cheese and sauce in the homemade bread. We dip in extra sauce. Devils are open ended with two link Italian sausages and chili on the inside. We always get a mini mild along with our order. Mini mild is a smaller Italian sausage with a piece of green chili, wrapped in homemade bread. They usually have their cannolis in a case ready for quick pick up.Not to worry this place stays busy so they are always fresh and warm.You can get them smothered in cheese and red sauce or just hand held and an option to buy several sizes of marinara to dip. Quick dinner option and well priced.(Pizzas are made to order and take time accordingly) You do have an option to eat in but no servers just order food and sit down (cafeteria style) in a classic historical restaurant. Great eats in North Denver.Family friendly, excellent food
