I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Fête, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
The steak was perfect – juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly the way I like.
The cheeses were also amazing! Besides the exceptional food, I must highlight the impeccable service from the manager, Maley and her team. I will definitely be returning!

A gem.
My wife and I went there to celebrate our 51st anniversary.
She had three small plates for her dinner, and enjoyed all of them very much.
I had the trout, and it too was very tasty.
I have two minor quibbles.
The restaurant has no outside sign, and I drove past it the first time.
Also, it was too noisy for my preference, but this appears to be common for many good restaurants presently.

La Fete is the perfect spot whether it's date night, brunch, or 5pm and you cozy up to the bar to escape traffic (highly recommend).
The food is among the best in Birmingham and the menu changes monthly, which is always exciting because we've yet to have anything bad.
The atmosphere is my favorite in Birmingham - you really do feel like you're at a bistro in Europe, not in Alabama.
This place has very quickly become a restaurant my husband and I tell everyone about because we want them to love this little local gem as much as we do!
