Iâm not sure how Kona Grill is surviving.Probably the happy hour crowd⌠We were there on Saturday at 7pm and the place was nearly empty. The food was outstanding but way too expensive. Our sever was initially sweet but seemed to have forgotten we were there. Bummer, used to be one of my favorite places

âYou get what you pay forâ⌠let me explain what I paid for.Overprice pot stickers, over priced Las Vegas roll, overpriced small main meal of ânot so bigâ big island ribeye (which was sent back twice, first time over cooked, second time raw/undercooked), over priced surf and turf with cocktail strip, sausage patty filet, with green beans.I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. This place has quadrupled their prices and changed their menu since I last came here. The silverware was covered in water spots.I didnât even get a discount for the ribeye.Iâm on the fence one star or two star.I suppose Iâm feeling generous. We passed on the deserts! No way! I couldnât get out of Kona fast enough! $190.00 for this skimp meal (not including tip).Save yourself the disappointment and got to longhorn steakhouse.Lastly, the most bland, flavorless ribeye Iâve ever ate!

First time to try Kona Grill and service was good. However, the food was not so good.I had the Phad Thai and it tasted sweet, and the portion was good for two people.Service was good as our server made sure that we got what we ordered and that she didnât missed anything. My Miso Soup was superb and flavorful; the watermelon margaritas was good too!.I definitely still recommend this place for sushi and rolls and cocktails.Service was good too so I gave the server a good tip.đ
