Sadly not super impressed with this place.
I think my service was wonderful.
However, the food was only okay.
I got the salmon twist roll, the papaya salad, and miso soup.
The roll was okay.
The giant chunk of cream cheese wasn’t my favorite.
However, they do have a cool way of showing you pictures of the rolls on an iPad, so that was on me for picking that one.
The fish was fresh so that’s a plus. However, the biggest disappointment was the papaya salad.
I have had many variations of this dish.
It is a spicy, salty, sour, fishy dish.
That is what I expected, especially since they told me they serve the Lao way which is typically more fishy than the Thai way.
Also it is usually served with something to eat it with like sticky rice, lettuce, long bean, etc.
They didn’t have sticky rice so I asked for romaine.
No romaine, so they gave me iceberg.
They charged me an extra $2 for a chunk of iceberg.
I get it, you gotta make money though.
However, the dish was not spicy at all.
It really lacked in flavor and it is typically such a flavorful dish.
I only tasted fish sauce… that’s it.
Really disappointing.
I ate it as the papaya and tomatoes did seem fresh at least. I did see people come in and order things like lo mein or other cooked foods, so that may be good.
I’d consider coming back and trying something else.
But unfortunately I was not impressed with Koi :( besides the service being kind.

Great service and I really like the restaurants Atmosphere.
The food was so good I felt like a masterchef prepared it.

This is a great place for Thai here in Nashville.
I've only been here two times and both were great! For my sushi lovers they have mackerel! If sushi isn't your thing their Thai dishes are really good! Prices are decent.
Service was good even with large groups.
