The best thing about Velvet Taco 🌮 is that they’re open late night.
And if I fairly assess all the options that are available in town at 4am closer to the popular bars, Velvet Taco 🌮 will make it to my Top 3 any damn day. The tacos are fusion tacos, so if you’re authentic taco purist, this ain’t for you! I personally look for tasty food, I don’t care if it’s fusion or authentic — as long as it tastes good, I’m here for it! My favorite on the menu is Chicken Tikka Taco.
Over the years, I’ve seen some tacos being rotated and are no longer on the menu but their popular tacos always stay on the menu. I used to frequent their music row location all the time but now this location is even more convenient to me.
Most of my favorite hangout spots are in east Nash so this location is perfect! There’s plenty of parking here and indoor and outdoor seating options.
Staff is friendly.
Now they’re open till 5am so it got even better.

We looooove velvet taco 🌮 😋 their guacamole is incredible and the tacos are all delicious.
We tried their curry cheese dip and it was mediocre but overall we love this spot! We also bring the dogs and sit on the patio!

Honestly these are some good tacos! Not the friendliest staff, but not the worst.
Place was clean and the tacos were very delicious.
