This place was cool.We went on the weekend before st Patrick's day and there was a small celebration happening at the bar.The service was good from our server but she did switch out check with a more expensive table but we caught it at the last second. The chips were a bit too salty for my preference but the salsa was good.My burrito was good but a bit small.Overall, a decent spot.
First time to this Jose Muldoon’s restaurant.I was off-put by the smell of the restaurant.I don’t know if it was just because it’s been rainy lately, but it smells like mildew and moisture which makes me think they may be breeding mold somewhere. The decor is very fitting for the genre. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She was wearing sweatpants and white shoes though which screams unprofessional and doesn’t fit the theme. Our food was a bit delayed coming out because two parties had arrived just before us. The food was good.Chips tastes freshly baked.Amazing Queso! I ordered the Aso & Carne street tacos. They tasted pretty bland and the black beans had more flavor to them.My husband ordered a combination with chili relenos and tamales. They brought out a flour tortilla for our baby too.Super sweet. I find it interesting because I had started out with a 4 star but as the time went on the rating kept dropping. Fix the mildew smell, mop your sticky floors, and ask your employees to show up to work a bit more professional and I’d give it a better rating.
We were craving Mexican food and figured we would try Jose Muldoons. When we first arrived at 5:30 PM we noticed the parking lot wasn't too packed so we figured we would get a table right away. Wrong. When we got to the check in counter the hostess said that there would be a 30 min wait.Which was confusing because there were a few open tables that I saw.It was just my Husband and I and there was even an empty table for 2. I figured they were reserved so I didn't look too much into it. Once we got called 30 mins later, we got seated and the whole section on our side was EMPTY! Including the seats we saw when we first arrived. So I was still confused as to why they made us wait if it wasn't busy... The chips were cold like they just came from the fridge and the salsa was okay.I ordered the braised beef tacos and my husband ordered Tamales and the mini burrito. The beef in the tacos that I ordered was super dry and not seasoned well.Tasted just like dry meat. I will say that our waitress was super nice and on top of her game! Overall the food is mediocre.I would not recommend this location.I'm sure other locations are better!
