Island Tropics offers a taste of Jamaican comfort food right in Brooklyn with a casual vibe that welcomes both solo diners and groups. I indulged in the oxtail stew, which was flavorful but served in a portion that left me wanting more. The plantains were nicely fried and added a sweet touch! 🍌

Though the service was a bit slow, the clean atmosphere made up for it. Just a heads up, the delivery options might be hit or miss. Overall, worth a visit if you’re craving some good island flavors, but they could improve on portions and customer service... 🌴
