The waitress was good, but the food was average.Good location, good staff, decent food. They had a Mexican lager on tap from San Diego that was ok, but they could have had a local beer that is pretty much the same.I’m not a fan of that.Always support local.Lively is just 1 example that could replace it.Maybe it rotates? Don’t know.Won’t be back to find out.
Was in need of a full dinner! I was starving.Decided to order some Iguana since had been so long. Was pleasantly surprised that it is still a great spot for chips and queso! Also had great tacos.I got the hamburger and the pork verde with refried beans and green rice. The tacos were full of great flavor. The chips were fresh and crispy. The queso was creamy and delicious.I am stuffed and satisfied! Enjoy!
The food and service have gone down in recent years. Edit. I tried it again as it used to be a favorite. My service was excellent this time.I believe her name was Rachel. If the menu changes I would try it again. The queso was bland and exactly like Taco Bueno if you like theirs.Just overpriced for lack of flavor. The salsa the last two times was very bland. No spice/garlic, it was also sour like it was old.My fish taco looked good but it had no depth in flavor. The crema was sparse and totally overpowered by the super sour slaw.It needed a bolder sauce and some cilantro.Adding avocado would be awesome. The fish however was inedible.Tasted like old oil just like the chips.Kids meals are priced well and my daughter enjoyed her food.Beer was cold and the bartender that served it was very nice.
