I first tried Cafe de L’asie when they were at The Collective.
It was great because my husband and I were trying a little bit of everything, right? So we got one bao to share.
I took one bite and was immediately like “NOPE.
YOU’RE GETTING ANOTHER ONE!” Haha! They haven’t changed since their brick and mortar location.
If anything, they’ve gotten even better.
Their flavors are impeccable.
The shrimp bao is by far the best one and their taro cheesecake is to die for.
The togarashi fries are great and my husband recently tried the bánh mì and loved it.
Definitely recommend coming here!

What a find walking around downtown okc! Walking distance from the botanical gardens. Good elevated fast food.
Their bun type sandwiches are what they are known for and the Sriracha chicken one is very food. The beef bulgogi bowl was very good as well.
I got extra sambal but did not need it - perfect spice level. Will return with friends for a quick bite before we head out for the night!! Oh and the staff was very helpful and kind - thanks to them 😀

I went here while visiting from out of town and saw it had good reviews, but unfortunately my friend got food poisoning after having their lettuce wrap.
It may have just been an off day.
My food was pretty good, not amazing but I didn’t get sick.
And the service was OK.
I did get a coffee and found that all the coffee creamers they had on the self-serve counter were expired.
One was even burst open and full of mold.
It seems like they need to check their food/inventory more often or more thoroughly.
Overall, we were disappointed by the experience.
