Around the south, you’re going to see plenty of Huddle Houses and Waffle Houses.Personally, I prefer Huddle Houses as they generally are cleaner and have better quality food.This one in Owens Crossroads checks all the boxes as far as good comfort food, atmosphere, and service.Because of the area, most of the customers are local so you’re going to get that hometown experience.If you’re looking for a sit down meal that’s relatively quick, then give this place a try.It’s definitely a good alternative to a typical fast food meal.I had the smokehouse breakfast.Grits with butter and with pieces of patty sausage mixed in was my highlight of the breakfast.

Went for breakfast.I had the MVP breakfast.More than I could eat.Hash browns were a little crispier than I would like.Biscuits and gravy was delicious.Coffee was ok.Service was below average compared to my experience.Recommend and will come back.
Overall: Clean, friendly service, good was tasty, they're open (yes it's getting to that point) Review: Food was really good here and the service was really friendly.It was very clean in the night we went so hopefully this is normally how it is! We went when there we not too many people.The food came out quick (not too quick) and the refills were plentiful.Menu is extensive as a Huddle House menu is. COVID safe: (new category for me) Tables were spaced every other table, they were visually sanitized, waitresses wore masks the correct way (aka no chin diaper) the entire time and they have digital menus available per QR code is you wish not to touch the menu Kids review: I liked the food Should you go: yeah....It's a Huddle House! Breakfast for dinner is always a win!
