Best breakfast ever! I got the chicken biscuits with gravy.The biscuits were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.The chicken was fried perfectly, not dried.The gravy was so delicious.This is the best breakfast I've ever had. The interior decorations were fantastic! I loved the variety. The wait was long, but so worth it.Plan to arrive 30 minutes before you want to eat.
First time dining here and enjoyed our experience. We arrived at 1:35pm, 25min until closing and we're seated right away. The servers are very friendly...and we were greeted multiple times. We ordered the Comfy Biscuit and Gravy which we were told is their #1 dish. The gravy was well seasoned and chicken nicely cooked. Also, ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken cooked nicely but the waffle was extremely thin..so the chicken to waffle ratio was off in my opinion. Just because I prefer a thicker waffle I would not order this dish again but they have so much other dishes that I would try in the future. Service was quick and hardly a wait for the food to come out. We were finished eating before they closed at 2pm. The restaurant has a super cute, homey feel.The walls are decorated with cool art from local artists that are also for sale. Ample free parking available in the back lot. Would come back to try some of the other items on their menu.
The ultimate Atlanta brunch.Came for the comfy chicken biscuit, stayed for the atmosphere.Our server was cheerful and welcoming, the music was on par and the artwork added to the funk.If you're visiting Atlanta and you want chicken and biscuits and a mom and pop diner feel, go to Homegrown.We also got the enchiladas, orange slices and a chocolate chip pancake on the side.All delicious.Very reasonable prices, no wait on a Friday afternoon, and easy parking.
