Went to Highlands with a friend.
We played darts.
Really fun atmosphere, engaging bartender, good beer.
I ordered a tortilla soup and a baked potato with chili.
The chicken in the tortilla soup was tender, but the broth tasted like chili and the tortillas were stale.
If the tortilla soup had had tortilla strips, cheese, a lime, some fresh veggies like tomato, cilantro, or avocado, the experience would have been elevated.
Same with baked potato.
I will try something different if I go again.
If you like standard bar food you might like the food here, but the atmosphere is what really makes Highland’s special.

Stopped by for lunch.
It was quiet, only a few locals in there.
Nice relaxing lunch.
Good food, awesome crunchy French fries.
Clam chowder could've been thicker for my taste, but the flavor was good.
Decent selection of beers.
Nice varied daily food and drink specials.
Liked that they had little TVs at each table.

Pub is only 21+.
Arrived on a Wednesday afternoon around 4PM.
Place was pretty empty.
Asked for bartender for a menu and ordered some ciders on tap and the OMG and Nashville Chicken - so surprisingly good and fresh!! There was only one bar tender working but she did a really good job with taking orders, cleaning up, and chatting with patrons.
We liked that there was private TVs at the booths, very unique! Looks like you can play pool here and pick music on the jukebox.
