The Best of The Best.Even though me and my fiance didn't go during a popular hour or day; we still had a great overall experience. Thanks to our sweet and kind server Kimberly, she made our first time there easy and comfortable (superstar customer service). On to the food. The food was cooked and seasoned to perfection thanks to Chef Silence. To be honest he made comfort fried food better than some southern grandmas with the big arm.We only waited 10-15 min for everything to come out, and trust it was devoured in less time.10/10 must try again 🥰 btw..I live 1hr away.definitely worth the gas.
Owner response
Thank you! We appreciate your patronage and support…
Overall lighting is a little darker than I would want we had to use flashlights to see the menu.Surprised that a $20 meal was served in paper boats with plastic wear and individual plastic cups for the sauce and coleslaw.Food was AMAZING!! Drinks were on point even though we had a forced up charge due to their lack of inventory for the drink we ordered. We chatted with the manager and provided feedback because unfortunately the food runner had my food in his shirt when he came to serve it and we were thrown off by the paper boat concept of the restaurant- the runner made sure to tell us his shirt was clean 🤨… We will return because Paige our server was top notch fantastic. So I will definitely return to see her!!
We had wonderful service and the food was delicious but i have a few things that turned me off from ever eating here again. First thing is that the food is served out of baskets and no plates. There is no real silverware… just plastic forks, knives and spoons. There was no butter for the waffles and there was no coffee. Anyhow these few things were a turn off for me. To top it off why is there an automatic gratuity in my bill. I am so tired of these black owned businesses adding the gratuity and thinking it’s ok. Anyhow the feeling is bittersweet. I will say if you are there and have the opportunity to have CeCe as your waitress then you will be served with a gracious and warm welcoming attitude.
