The lovely ladies at Gusto Napolitano provide the friendliest service and their pizza is excellent. It had flavors from my second homecountry and the brick oven taste is delicious.I really don't know what was on this pineapple (mango?) cheesecake but it was one of the best desserts I've ever had...👌🇮🇹

We're overjoyed to hear that you enjoyed our pizza and the unique flavor of our pineapple cheesecake, Mercedes! It means a lot to our team to hear such praises. We hope to serve you again soon!
When we got there the owner was getting wood out of their car to bring inside and my husband offered to help her.She declined. We come in and have a seat and start looking at the menu. The woman inside was very nice.Owner comes in and asks if we have any questions.I said no and that I was thinking of getting the porky fig. She said oh that's a good seller.I said "yeah I like sweet and salty.I make a pizza at home that has the prosciutto, arugula and balsamic glaze on it." She went off saying they don't use that. That's it's a topping for rancid meat.We don't use that in Italian cooking.I tried to say that's okay I was just trying to say l like salty sweet. Both in my eyes would be salty sweet.(Prosciutto+fig jam, prosciutto+glaze). She wouldn't let me say anything.I just sat there looking down while she grilled me on why it's awful and rancid and tried not to cry."We don't do sauces cuz it's not the Italian way.We don't have ranch or balsamic and that people leave all the time when I tell them that." It was intense for no reason.I say again "I'm not asking for you to change your pizza." I really just wanted to get up and leave at that point but just felt so awkward and trying not to cry.My husband and I sit in silence while waiting for the food and I try to collect myself.A little while after the food comes out she comes by and asks if we like it and says it's different huh? I'm like yep it's salty sweet. All in all the food was okay but won't be returning.Pizza was fine.Panini was very crunchy so if you have dentures or something I wouldn't recommend ordering. If She came off so strong and for what.To defend Italian cuisine against balsamic glaze.Like because I like something doesn't mean you have to serve it or like it.I really think it was a case of waiting to respond and not actively listening to what I was saying.Either way we won't be back. Got home and cried.

We're truly sorry for your experience, Breanna. At Gusto Napoletano, we aim to create a welcoming environment for everyone. Please accept our apologies if you felt uncomfortable or disrespected.Your comments have been noted and will be used to improve the way we communicate with our customers. We take pride in our traditional Italian cooking method and sometimes our eagerness to share it can be a bit too zealous. We're sorry if this overshadowed your experience.Your feedback is actually very valuable to us as it helps us see how we can improve.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. If you ever decide to give us another try, we would love the opportunity to give you a better dining experience.
The most italian thing is their margherita. She says she’s from Naples and “ the pizzas are all different everywhere “.I’ve sent this to my Napolitan family to make sure I’m not mistaken.NO WHERE IN NAPLES serves “pizza” like this. Other than that. The wine is fine and the “pizza” has enough salt to call it seasoned. If you get anything other than the margherita or marinara, make sure you ask for it to be made with sauce. *Reply* Had the customer service been better when i asked for sauce, maybe i would.Had you had enough customer service to ask what was wrong when I took a bite out of a single slice and didn’t want a box, maybe i would have.None of this added up to the traditional napolitan I’ve experienced in Napoli. The attitude wasn’t even the same. You had your nose turned up from the moment we requested something different from the menu.I’ve lived in Naples, been all up and down Italy and never have i asked per una diavola and received una pizza bianca con salamino. Your 1 star could have been a 5 had there been customer service

We strive to offer a true Neapolitan experience.I wished you had shared your dissatisfaction with your pizza so that you could have enjoyed your dining experience. We cannot fix it if we are not told.Leaving a 1-star review without giving us a chance to offer you something to your liking is not how you support a small business.I would like to invite you to come back and try another pizza on us, so that we are afforded another chance at giving you an excellent dining experience.
