Latin American restaurant
The place is amazingly clean and fresh. The seats are very inviting and refreshing colors.A very welcoming environment and the food is fresh and the employees are welcoming. This place is an upgraded Chipotle mixed in with Cava. You will find a variety of things you might love or like. This is also locally owned and the place is Closed on Sunday.God Bless such a place to be closed for the lord's day, so employees could go to church.I'm definitely coming to eat here.
Iâve frequented Guasaca for more than 5 years.I usually go to the Lake Bone location, sometimes the morrisville location..this was my first time at the Spring Forest location. And let me tell you, the customer service was worse than horribleâŚthe employees were more interested in getting you out the way, rather than ensuring you have a decent experience.I make a modification all the time due to an allergy that both the other locations honor with ease. But this location, NoâŚeven asking the question of âcan you make the salmon without chimichurriâ caused the employee to immediately respond harshly and throw her title around stating âshe was the general manager and that we donât do that hereâ.I very calmly responded and said well Iâve been coming to Guasaca for years and the other two locations make the accommodation without question.Instead of even listening I was immediately brushed off and told again âwell this is how itâs made, we donât do that hereâ.I would just like to say that if you work in a service industryâŚat the very minimum you should be able to deal with customers.I donât think this women should be interfacing with people and I will NEVER return to this location and may never eat Guasaca again.Speak to someone the way you wish to spoken to, itâs truthfully that simple. My experience certainly isnât coming through holistically through text but her tone was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive.I wouldâve been okay with her telling me she didnât want to make the accommodation without the added extra rudeness, but that one simple question sent her into a tizzy. So again, Iâd recommend to all my Guasaca lovers to choose the other two locations over this one.The employees here, donât care to make youâre food with basic care, have a hard time answering basic questions and certainly donât make any accommodations for allergies or for any reason.0/10 donât recommend.
Update: Customer relations reached out and was very nice.Explained they are working on making sure everyone is aware the guacamole is included with vegetarian.Again, Iâd just emphasize to make sure you watch they put everything in your order, or check take-out before you leave. Ordered 2 build your own vegetarian arepas.Asked the initial server if guasaca was included and he said yes.Ordered my 3 toppings. When I got home my arepas had 3 toppings, no guasaca.Called the store they said with build your own you have to ask as an extra. But in looking up the menu from others photos it clearly says vegetarian build your own has guasaca included. It makes sense it should be included if youâre not getting a meat, as itâs similarly priced.Waste of time driving there and now overpaid for less as the whole point was we were craving the guacamole.Just check what they put in your order.
