Mexican restaurant, Bar & grill
First time visitor, stopped by for lunch by myself.Though I was seated right away, there were 2 waitress and they seemed a little hesitant to actually wait on me like who was going to do it. Finally one decided to get me a menu and bring it over.Seemed a little strange only after the next customer walked in and he was greeted immediately and had his drink at the bar before I could even get my water or order taken. Ordered the Tacos Dorados. They were good but had A LOT of cabbage on top.The chips and salsa were the best part. Pricing was a little high, $20 including tip.I guess because of the location, they raised prices. The menu had little pieces of paper with a price on them from the original print.Overall, the decor was fun and the food was good.
Don't sleep on this place. This wonderful place has some of the best house made salsa I have ever had...and I don't really say that at all, but they do it best with theirs. The establishment, in general, was very clean and aesthetically pleasing all around. The waitress I had at the time was formal and asked all questions I had + plus stayed attentive when giving me space to enjoy & eat in my own peace, but never forgot to check in on me either. The food, and I really don't think what it is you choose, was excellent.Flavorful, the right amount of spices, & decently pleasing portion size to price ratio (in my eyes*).The Birria is really good as I'm a sucker for a place that can produce a good Birria dish...and they don't disappoint. The drinks were excellent & their bar selection for hard alcohol was plentiful (respectfully to its nature).Frozen drinks are also available & looked tasty as well.Very convenient for being close to the airport & an excellent Cigar lounge (which is how I ended up here hungry). In my final opinion, if I lived here close (and in the state of Texas to start with) I would be at this place as my go-to restaurant for good Mexican/Hispanic food & good drinks.I'r even have a birthday here too if I could.Loved this place & glad I stumbled upon it.Give it a try!
This establishment is a must try!!! Hands down the freshest and most authentic Mexican food in the area.Great decor, atmosphere and top notch service! I was greeted with a “Welcome!” and a smile as soon I walked in.I ordered Tacos de Birria, they are packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice.I’ll be back often!
Owner response
Thank you so much Kate ♥️ We take pride in our Birria Tacos that take long long hours to make, but that time and love is what gives it all the flavor.Happy you can taste the effort.
