Breakfast restaurant
You’re probably reading this because you’re in the Hilton, and don’t want to pay $12 for a basic continental breakfast. For that same $12, you can get a MUCH better breakfast here. The chicken fried steak wasn’t half bad for the price.I am not sure if it is always like this, but when I went, it was not a buffet like some of the reviews implied.
A simple place, great traditional food.I had a unique experience with the delicious Country Benedict, with poached eggs on fluffy biscuit topped with thin grilled tomato slices and white country sausage gravy. Each piece was super tender and cut only with a fork.Fantastic! I have been craving it ever since.Burger was great too.
Stopped by out of strong interest to explore.Tried their chopped beef and pancakes. The food and their service were good. Will likely make this place my pit stop when flying out of IAH.
