Visiting SLC and wanted to find somewhere for lunch.
Golden Gyros had tables open inside for dine-in, and tables on their front patio covered with umbrellas.
Parking was easily accessible and there were lots of open spots.
Food was reasonably priced, $12- $15 per person for a full meal, with drinks.
I ordered the Greek gyro salad, and my husband had the classic gyro combo with fries.
The salad was huge, had a great amount of meat on top of a fresh salad of lettuce, onions, olives, and feta cheese.
The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, very flavorful.
This was easily one of the most filling salads I've ever had.
It came with a side of bread that was also delicious.
My husbands gyro was stuffed with meat and fresh toppings.
The tzatziki sauce was freshly made, the fries were hot and perfectly crispy.
Would definitely recommend if you're looking for great greek food! We went back for a 2nd visit during our stay in SLC because we enjoyed it so much.

This place was okay, I read the reviews and that they’d be really good.
It was about 6 pm when I went there wasn’t anyone.
However it’s 6 pm downtown. They have a really nice outdoor patio which I’m sure is awesome during the spring/summer. The inside is clean with a few tables. The cheese fries are not shredded cheese fries they use nacho cheese which was a disappointment for me, since I asked this and she said it was shredded cheese. Would I comeback again? No

Best Gyros in Town ! Very peaceful place with great food I’m so happy we came here and can’t wait to come back again!!
