Warm olives, focaccia, and cocktails, OH MY! This is a beautiful backdrop for a milestone birthday celebration. The food is tasty. Cocktails were expertly made. Our group had a wonderful time. Quality is a 10/10, service is an 11/10, and cleanliness was perfect too! It is PRICEY and parking is slightly inconvenient. Great place for a once-in-a-while visit.

Really beautiful restaurant. The polenta and focaccia were both very good. The truffle gnocchi and salmon were both fine but didn't wow, and could have used more seasoning. They might have been understaffed as there was a long wait for our drinks and then our food . Overall it was fine, good/decent food, but nothing that wowed.

I recently dined at Giulia, the Italian restaurant nestled within the charming Emery Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. The experience was a mix of highs and lows. The restaurant's ambience is undoubtedly captivating, with a beautiful setting that creates the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service, adding to the overall pleasant experience. However, when it came to the food, it left me with mixed feelings. While it was undeniably good, it didn't quite reach the level of being exceptional. The menu offered a variety of Italian dishes, but the flavors, though enjoyable, didn't leave a lasting impression. This made me question the somewhat higher price point, as I expected a bit more for what I paid. In summary, my visit to Giulia at the Emery Hotel was enjoyable, but it didn't completely wow me.I'd recommend it for a special occasion, as the ambience and service make it a suitable choice for such events. However, for regular dining, I might explore other options in the city that offer a more remarkable culinary experience!
