After not finding a good place to eat in the downtown area, google brought us here! AMAZING FOOD! This is Sunday dinner, thanksgiving, Christmas type food! Service is outstanding (thanks Deacon!) have not one complaint about anything! Everything was seasoned well as if your grandma was back there herself! She crab stew is like a clam chowder but crab! And plenty of it!! Cannot wait to come back!!
The food was very good.We had the oxtail with white rice, yams and broccoli and the fried tenders with Mac and cheese and mixed greens.Angel was our server and she was so warm and welcoming.My only complaint is the portion size did not match the price.$31 for 2 and a 1/2 oxtail and 2 yams is a bit much.The fried tenders were priced appropriately.I would definitely return to try something else on the menu.
I have been to Geneva’s numerous times but I have not been since they remodeled.The remodeling is absolutely amazing.More room for dine in customers.No waiting to be seated.And as always the food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly, relaxing and welcoming.The prices are reasonable.They are kid friendly.Feels like you are at a family members house instead of a restaurant.The best soul food I have had at a restaurant in years! Definitely will be returning soon!
