The wait to get seated was extremely long last Saturday morning.
Then, it took about 45 minutes to get the food after ordering.
My hash browns were cold and not cooked through.
Would definitely not go back.
It's too long of a wait for average tasting food.
It's not worth the hype over how it was on Food Network TV.
The homemade bread was outstanding, but I got the small end pieces, and my friends got the big middle pieces.
When I asked why mine were so much smaller, the guy delivering the food said we could fight each other to get a bigger piece.
I think he was joking??? Felt that was bad customer service.
We did not get a lot of attention from the server.

There is always going to be a long wait in a busy weekend in the summer at Franks.
Also, another beloved downtown diner had a tragic fire a week ago, so we are accommodating more customers than usual.
We are sorry that you were not happy with your hash browns.
Franks is also known for ribbing our customers, sorry you didn’t get that.
Servers do not have assigned tables, each server, including the ones refilling your coffee, wait on anyone, at any time.
Our bread is homemade by hand, and also cut by hand, so every piece is unique.
We are our best to make sure people get about an equal amount.
I guess this time we failed.
Franks is a unique experience and 99% of the people who visit have a great time, and great food.
Give us another try and I’m sure you’ll have a better time.

First time trying Frank's Diner.
This is definitely a very popular place.
I got the Garbage Plate.
I asked for my Eggs Over Easy, but Hard Fried was close.
The Bacon was ordered Crispy, but as you can in the Picture, the Bacon was definitely not crispy.
The meal was delicious and the Homemade Bread was very good.
The Waitress was not as attentive as was expected.
We were not asked about the Meal nor were we given a refill on the Water or Tea.
I will have to come back next year and try it again.

We were fortunate to get a seat inside without too much wait during a busy weekend.
The restaurant is a wonderful piece of local history with food that will certainly be a delight to those who love a hearty breakfast.
Unfortunately, however, we had to wait an hour for our food which is obviously a bit long.
It would be helpful if some effort was spent to help patrons know the wait for their meals particularly for those on a time constraint.
Wait times for entry is standard but it seems wait times for the food would be helpful here as well.
