This was my first time at this restaurant.
The building and restaurant are very nice.
I had the Friday fish dinner, which was excellent.
I asked for it to be broiled, and it was done perfectly.
I added a little salt to the frys and couldn't stop eating them.
If you're looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere and somewhat upscale, this is for you.

I've been to the brunch a few times with my wife and toddler and its always been very pleasant.
However we went for mothers day and the ballroom was decorated brilliantly.
Very elegant, not too crowded, had no issues with the reservation.
The experience was delightful and I would encourage anyone to go there. The food was very good, they had your typical eggs and sausage, to mac and cheese and fish, to prime rib and shrimp cocktail.

The 1884 is a wonderful dining experience.
We went here for a birthday dinner.
Enjoy the drinks, the beef, the potatoes, and all the other entrees. We loved the experience and the food, but the services was less than excellent.
We waited a while for a few things that were rather standard. Altogether, you’ll enjoy your time here. Make sure you budget your time to check out the hotel and ballroom.
