Fiddler's Crab House & Oyster Bar

You can’t judge a book by its cover.
I initially entered this restaurant because it was close to the information centre and I wanted to have some oysters.
My main goal was to go to another restaurant first, but I thought I would try fiddlers because it was so convenient.
I walked in took a look around, smelled the air and decided to leave.
I went to the other oyster bar that I was recommended and had an awful experience.
So I headed back to fiddlers to give it another try.
I bypassed the stinky downstairs, headed upstairs and went out on the patio to the beautiful view.
Then this little crystal meth inspired waitress fairy came by and took my order.
She brought me a plate of raw oysters and they were delicious and well shucked.
The presentation is a little bit lacking, but the food is amazing.
She recommended a pink drink that is now my favourite cocktail.
She then brought me some crab claws after that and she’s about to bring me some tacos.
This place is amazing.
I wish I could live here on this patio forever.

We traveled to Savannah, Georgia for our anniversary to explore the history.
We stopped here for our first night's meal, to celebrate a little bit and my wife and I decided to engorge ourselves on some long delayed spectacular meals.
We started the meal with some cocktails which were fantastic, but I especially thought that my wife's choice of a cocktail was better than mine.
She got the Crab shack cooler cocktail, and the orange flavors definitely make it a very tangy and flavorful cocktail.

Both of us had appetizers where my wife was able to enjoy her favored platter of oysters.
She had nothing but excited expressions and enjoyed every morsel of oysters that she was delivered.
I had the fried pickles, and though they were a small bit salty, they were still enjoyable.
My wife got the seafood platter that had the choice of shrimp and crab legs and she could not stop smiling.
I had the buffalo shrimp po-boy and it was one of the better Po-Boys I have had in my life, and I grew up around New Orleans.
As for the atmosphere, the place is definitely bustling and busy, but there are plenty of smiles all around.
Our waitress and the person training with her were both very friendly and easy to communicate with, and did not shy away from some interesting historical facts about the building.
They were also very focused and accommodating to our being satisfied with our meal for the entire night.
This is definitely a place we will return to in the future, and we hope that our next visit will be just as wonderful as our visit this time.

We were a party of 5.
We waited for about 5 minutes for a table.
As soon as we were seated the server was there to get our drink order.
We ordered our food and it arrived very quickly.
The crab dip in the bread bowl was AWESOME! The low country boil was seasoned perfectly.
My sister had the salmon and she said it was the best she'd had in a long time.
The restaurant was clean, the bathroom clean, the server (wish I could remember her name.) was very attentive, and the food was perfectly seasoned, way to go Fiddler's Crab House!
