While the food at this Ethiopian restaurant was enjoyable and the majority of the staff were pleasant, I was disappointed by the behavior of one particular male waiter.
Despite the restaurant being relatively empty during our visit, he made rude comments about the length of our stay, which felt unwarranted and unwelcoming.
Instead of simply informing us about the booked table, he chose to criticize our time spent there.
He said, “you’re here for almost 3 hours.” This unnecessary remark detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
Management should address such behavior to ensure all customers feel valued and respected during their visits.

This place was so good.
I almost never think to leave a review but I had to for this place.
I went for Restaurant Week January 2024 and the menu was truly fantastic.
The sambusas and stew were delicious and I loved that everything was served with injera bread.
Honey wine was sweet but not overly so and I liked the carbonation.
For the main I had the short ribs which were truly to die for and the dessert souffle also knocked it out of the park! Every single thing they brought out was just fantastic.
The dining experience was also smooth and service was regular without being overbearing.
I also appreciated that there is an automatic 20% service fee, so you don’t feel obligated to tip (although I did, because it was that good).
Truly not a single thing to complain about and I will definitely be going back.

Best Ethiopian food I've had in forever.
Don't forget to wash your hands before dinner! Lighting is also a little dim in the evening, so us old folks might have a need of a little pocket light, lol.
Staff was very friendly and constantly circulated with beverages and to make sure we had everything we needed, including bringing us plenty of bread.
The service was quite good! Flavors were perfectly spiced, and the variety of the sampler platter was fantastic.
Fish was also deliciously seasoned.
