Mexican restaurant
We stopped for a quick snack after visiting the Perot museum, which is less than a block away.We were pleasantly rewarded. Classic Tex mex that had understated quality. It starts with the light crisp tortilla chips that is a standout star by itself. The quesadillas and enchiladas had a well seasoned taste and mouth feel that reflects the emphasis of using higher quality cheeses & meats.I’m looking forward to try more of the large menu varieties in the future.
Food was ok.Had the Fenix burger.Well served, hot fresh.I believe they used a traditional frozen patty but it was a good size and tasted ok.Stayed away from the Mexican food. Those of you who know me, know the expectation past the checkpoint isn't very high so I usually stay away from Mexican food.Service was excellent, ambiance was nice.
Fantastic vibe, fresh, delicious, and value for money food. However the male server… a really unusual experience to say the least … sat down he asked for food orders 3 times in 5 mins, kept pushing the house margaritas, yelling out for no reason, etc. On payment didn’t want to show the total in the payment machine Just really odd… As I say great food and vibe the service lets it down and the only reason why I won’t return
