Heard the meats were spectacular and the sides were average.
I got the pork platter and the meat was quite good but not spectacular.
The sides in fact were spectacular.
Slaw was the best I’ve had in TN.
The cornbread was outstanding which is difficult to do.
The banana pudding was very good and would have been excellent but I’m still looking for that first vanilla wafer that somehow didn’t make it into my serving.
The prices were also very reasonable so overall an excellent experience.

The food was really good.
We've tried a couple different barbecue places since we've been in the Nashville area and this was hands down the best when it came to the barbecue part.
There's sides were a little ho-hum but when you have amazing barbecue as the star I guess you don't have to worry about that as much.
It is a self-service place so once you order the counter the only time you're going to see anybody else is when they come to drop off your food.

I liked the atmosphere.
My baby back ribs were tender, and the taste was really good. The fries had a satisfying crunch to them. I didn't care for the Mac and chesse, at all, needed way more cheese to take the bland out of them.
Knocked the food score down a star. My son had the brisket and mashed potatoes.
They were good, but not on the level of the ribs.
